AMENDMENT ONE (#1) HEREBY EXTENDS THE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS TO FEBRUARY 28, 2005 FOR RFP 950. THE AMENDMENT ALSO INCLUDES A SCHEDULED SITE VISIT AS PER CLAUSE 52.237-1 SITE VISIT (APR 1984) OFFERORS OR QUOTERS ARE URGED AND EXPECTED TO INSPECT THE SITE WHERE SERVICES ARE TO BE PERFORMED AND TO SATISFY THEMSELVES REGARDING ALL GENERAL AND LOCAL CONDITIONS THAT MAY AFFECT THE COST OF THE CONTRACT PERFORMANCE, TO THE EXTENT THAT THE INFORMATION IS REASONABLY OBTAINABLE. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD. ALL OFFERORS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE SITE VISIT, RSVP NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS, FEBRUARY 2, 2005 (EMAIL OR FAX YOUR NOTICE OF ATTENDANCE). DATE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2005 LOCATION: IHS WHITERIVER INDIAN HOSPITAL, STATE ROUTE 73, MILE POST 342, WHITERIVER, ARIZONA 85941 TIME: 10:00AM (MST) ************************************************************************************************************************************ The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), I seeking Security Guard services for one of our hospitals located in Whiteriver, Arizona. Solicitation packages shall be available January 4, 2005 and is set aside for Small Business concerns only. NAICS is 561612. Award will be based on overall proposal with appropriate consideration given to technical, business evaluation factors and services at fair and reasonable prices. The government will select the best overall value to the Indian Health Service, Phoenix Area Indian Health Service. Offerors shall complete technical and business proposal (s).
