Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for maintenance of two Jeol scanning electron microscopes. Sources are being sought for this requirement. Contractor must have unfettered access to all required Jeol software updates, service publications and any necessary Jeol diagnostic software. Interested parties must submit documentation verifying the ability to provide the above requirements in writing to Barbara Simmons, Contracting Office, VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA 23667 not later them noon local time January 28, 2005. Responses received will be evaluated, however,a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
