- Request for Information (RFI) - RFI# FA94PMELKAFB. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION for bids/proposals but a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is issued for the sole purpose of the 377 CONS/LGCM Operational Contracting Division, Kirtland AFB, NM to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This effort is to seek qualified sources capable of providing services necessary to manage, test, calibrate, repair, modify, certify and perform Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) services at Kirtland AFB NM. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will use the information obtained from this RFI to understand the interest and capabilities of the market for this task. Request that respondents capable of performing this effort furnish a capability package no later than close of business, local time, 18 Feb 2005. Please include company name, address, telephone number, point(s) of contact with an e-mail address, business size, DUNS number, CCR registration number, Federal CAGE Code and a description of similar contracts. The description should include agency name, contract number, dollar magnitude, performance period and points of contact with current phone numbers. Address questions via e-mail only to the Contract Specialist, Katherine L. Weber, e-mail: Katherine.Weber@kirtland.af.mil. No discussions will be conducted telephonically. Section 1 - Responses should include information regarding: (1) Respondent's ability to perform the functions identified in the draft SOW; (2) Identification of any functions that would be subcontracted; (3) Respondent's qualifications and certifications; (4) Respondent's knowledge and experience with PMEL equipment; (5) Respondent's interest in bidding for this work should a solicitation be issued. Section 2 - Clearances. All personnel will be required to possess and maintain security clearances at the SECRET level. To facilitate the market research, a tour of the PMEL facility will be held on 11 February 2005 from 0900 ? 1130. An introductory briefing will be held in the Wing Conference Room on 11 February at 0800 in building 20604.
