- Description
- This solicitation is for the repair of the Short Rotation Woody Crop irrigation control system on the Savannah River Site. Contractor shall provide and install all valve access boxes, controllers, computers, electric wire, grounding, decoder and other materials and equipment as required for a repair of irrigation control system in accordance with the specifications. The size standard for this unrestricted solicitation is $12 million under NAICS code 238210 Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about 18 Nov 2004. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. The magnitude of the solicitation is between $100,000 and $250,000 A minimum of 72 hours is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. Contractors should pay close attention to the deadlines to submit information required to gain access for site visit included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on this website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration as prescribed by FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Savannah River Site is a restricted access Government facility and vehicle searches are done on all vehicles entering the Site. No contraband items, such as guns, ammunition, drugs etc. are allowed on Site. A picture ID of persons entering the Site is required.
