Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Permuta Technologies, 6335 Camilla St., Springfield VA 22152 for the acquisition of services and support of the Data Maintenance Engine (DME) application development tool. The DME is proprietary to Permuta Technologies. The DME allows for the rapid development of capabilities (pushed out through the web) to the end user. This cuts development time down from months to weeks or even days in some cases. The period of performance for this contract will be one year with two 1-year option periods. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) only one responsible source. Companies who can provide this subscription and services must indicate their interest in writing by 27 Jan 05. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or a request for proposal. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order. Companies should submit comments to santorod@scott.disa.mil.
