- See numbered notes 1, 9 and 26. Bag, Drinking, Water, 3 Pint, NSN:8465-00-634-4499 will be procurred in accordance with MIL-B-8571 D Dated 16 Oct. 1970, Amendment 1 Dated 5 August 1978. Quantity to be procurred is 20,800EA. No Options. There will be 6 deliveries. Destinations are SNT-W25G1U, New Cumberland, PA and AQ5-W62G2T, San Joaquin, Tracy, CA. Production Leadtime is 120 days. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. A first article of 5 EA will be required 60 days after date of award. Contractor must be CCR registered and have a Cage Code, call 1-800-227-2423 or go to http://www.ccr.dlis.mil. Availability of soicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification on this RFQ.Copies of this RFQ can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home AFTER 7 February 2005(ESTIMATED DATE).From the Gateway home page, select Search RFQ, from the left-hand sidebar. Then chose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification that can connect users diretly to a digital copy of the RFQ on the Internet. The RFQ will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Important Note on Foreign Content-The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes(including wht is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment" impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals"(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014 must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. DSCP has developted a web-based system for contractors to request their specs, patterns, drawings, etc. A contractor fills out an on-line form and the request is automatically e-mailed to the TDR area and stored in a database table.
