- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for two (2) Enviromental Conditioning Units. Salient features are as as follows: This requirement is for 2 remote environmental conditioning units, PGC model 800-1200 or equal. The units will be used to condition a test chamber for temperature and humidity. The units shall meet the following requirements: " The units shall have 1200 cfm capacity each " The units shall operate on 208 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz or 480 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz power " The units shall be water cooled " Any wetted chambers in the units shall be constructed of welded stainless steel " Units shall include a 24 hour pen chart drive " Units shall include a computer interface to allow for data export " Units shall have humidity control constancy of +1% or better and temperature control constancy of +0.5 degree C or better " Units shall be capable of at least 40 programming segments with automatic ramping and soaking to allow for automatic scheduling of test parameters " Units can be horizontal or vertical layout configuration with vertical preferred " Units shall have casters to allow for movement across a concrete floor " Units shall be capable of maintaining environments ranging from 45 degrees F and 80%C humidity up to 100 degrees F and 80% humidity " Units shall include temperature and humidity sensors and transmitters " Units shall have provision for attachment of inlet and outlet ductwork If quoting "or equal" items, please provide manufacturer(s) and part number(s). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 01-27. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333415 and 750 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Shipment to MSFC shall be made 4 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 10:30AM Friday 28, 2005, to Marianne Campbell and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
