Description
This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has a requirement for Condenser Coils for chiller model 30GX-106-A-460, manufactured by Carrier Corporation and an Air Conditioning Unit manufactured by Trane Corporation. Four (two distinctively different parts) Carrier Corporation coil units are required. The specification for two units are 30 GX Condenser Coil; Vertical with Pro Coated Fins, manufactures part number is 30GX-403341. The specification for two units is 30GX Condenser Coil. Slant with pre coated fins; manufactures part number is 30GX-403342. One Split System Air Conditioning Unit (large) manufactured by Trane Corporation is required. The Trane Corporation part number is TTA180C300. This is a TTA air condensing outdoor unit, 15-ton nominal cooling capacity, dual manifold compressors and 208-230 volt 3 phase 50 hertz. All assets will be delivered to the transportation officer at Patrick Air Force Base Florida within 30 days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0082 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3585, business size of 750 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333415. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 January 2005 at www.eps.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
