- Description
- Contractor shall provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Technology (C4/IT) capabilities necessary for U.S Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) to execute its responsibilities under the National Military Strategy (NMS) requiremen ts and the execution of internal business and administrative processes. Non-personal technical and analytical support services will be provided to Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6, and other staff organizations and subordinate commands of FORSCOM at Fort McPher son, GA. Except for those items or services specifically stated to be Government furnished, the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and items necessary to provide the products and services as defined by the Government. Services include the identification of C4/IT capabilities/issues/solutions; the development and maintenance of reports, databases, and web-based information repositories; and the rapid response/support of requirements relating to IT interest and concerns. FORSCOM requires the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information for current and future capabilities of C4/IT systems used by FORSCOM and its components. The contract vehicle will provide IT operational and analytical support as defined in se parately developed TOs. It will also enable evaluation of C4/IT system capabilities to support contingency planning and execution. Contractor should be capable of meeting potential requirements to provide advisory assistance to the sustaining base commun ity in support of C4/IT assessments. Travel to various locations throughout the United States in support of data collection, problem identification, and inspections may be required. The anticipated period of performance is a base period, plus four one-year options commencing on June 1, 2005 for a 30-day phase-in with full performance beginning on July 1, 2005. The contract type intended is Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDI Q). This acquisition will be 8(a) Competitive. The Government intends on applying the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541512, Computer System Design Services, size standard $21.0 million in accordance with FAR 19.102. A TOP SE CRET facility clearance granted by the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) shall be required prior to performing any part of the contract.
