Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with LDS Test and Measurement, 8551 Research Way, Suite 140, Middleton, WI 53562. This contract will be for the following item. Line Item 0001, 2 Each, LDS Test and Measurement Part Number 986A0165, 16 Channel Vision XP; 4.5 GB Storage/Channel (Vision Data Acquisition Recorder). LDS Test and Measurement is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of this item. T he item must be compatible with the current LDS Test and Measurement item in the above listed Item 0001 to ensure compatibility with existing Vision Data Acquisition Recorders in use at USAYPG and software interface. Special features to include form, fit, and function, and specifications must be met to include identical physical features and electronic characteristics. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based u pon proposals received in response to this synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to meet this requirement, then you must respond by 2 February 2005, Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST). Email your response to Michael McDaniel at Michael.McDaniel@yuma.army.mil The response must include technical literature to clearly demonstrate that your firm possesses the experience and capability to provide the required equipment. There are no substi tutions for meeting requirements of the above listed item and all specifications must be met. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research r egarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 (Note 22 is changed to 10 days vice 45 days).
