Description

The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor and equipment required to load, transport and dispose of approximatley 300 yards of contaminated wood debris located at the Youngstown Training Area, Balmer and Porter Center Road, Youngstown, NY. Th e wood debris was generated as a result of dismantling an outdoor firing range baffle. The wood debris varies in length and size and was found to be hazardous for both lead and arsenic, and is thus a hazardous waste. The contractor shall comply with all applicable state and federal regulations. The dollar magnitude of this procurement is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 562211, with a small business size standa rd of $10,500,000. The performance period is 30 days after receiving notice to proceed. The RFQ is expected to be issued on are about February 8, 2005. An organized site visit will be conducted at a time and date stated within the solcitiation. The serv ice contract act of 1965 applies to this procurement. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is mandatory for award consideration. Contractors shoudl go to www.ccr.gov to register.
