- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE SPACE NEAR BATON ROUGE AIRPORT Advertisement No. 5LA0030 DESCRIPTION: General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 3,700 rentable square feet of quality office space that will produce 3,200 (minimum) ? 3,350 (maximum) usable square feet for occupancy by Transportation Security Administration. A minimum of 2 on-site, reserved parking spaces are required. LOCATION: Space must be located within 5 miles of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space must be in a new or modern office building which projects a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Space must be contiguous and located on no more than 1 floor. Space must be serviced by municipal utilities, and have easy access. LEASE TERM: 5 years, 2 years firm OCCUPANCY: Space should be ready for occupancy within 90 days of receipt of the design intent drawing. Approximate occupancy date is November 1, 2005. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing by letter, fax, or e-mail, no later than February 10, 2005, and should include the following information: Street address and building name, legal description, square footage, name, address and phone number of the Individual to be contacted, name of the recorded owner, evidence of authority to represent the owner, scaled drawings of existing space, site plat for construction sites. Authorized contacts: In no event shall the offeror enter into discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal agencies other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration.
