- Description
- The projects consist of pre-commercial thinning and slash treatment of 399 acres on the Mormon Lake Ranger Districts of the Coconino National Forest. The contractor must be registered with the Department of Labor under the Migrant and Seasonal Workers Act, and provide all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform the work. The Lake Mary portion of the project is located at an elevation of 6900 feet in T20N, R7E, section 25 and T20N, R8E, sections 19, 25 and 30. The vegetation is predominately ponderosa pine. Topography varies from flat to 25% slopes. Access to Lake Mary is via Forest Highway 3 (Lake Mary Road) for 5 miles south from Flagstaff to Forest Road 132. Travel south 2 miles to project area. The solicitation will issue on or about February 9, 2005, with quotes due on or about March 10, 2005. A show me trip has been scheduled for February 23, 2005 at 9:00 am at the Mormon Lake Ranger District located at 4373 Lake Mary Road, Flagstaff, AZ, 86001.
