Description

This procurement is 100% set-aside to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns pursuant to the Veterans Benefit Act of 2003. The Colville National Forest has a requirement to replace the existing HVAC system in a 2-story, 21,676 square feet office building with a new system. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing existing furnace and rooftop units with new, roofing replacement, controls, demolition, including asbestos abatement, electrical for new HVAC system and exit emergency lighting. Unless otherwise provided, the contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 238220 and size standard is $12 million. The solicitation will be issued on February 9, 2005 and the proposals due on March 10, 2005. The construction magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Only Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns may submit a proposal, which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on or about the issue date. No paper copies will be issued.
