- This is Western Area Power Administration???s (Western) notice of intent to acquire on a sole source basis onsite converter transformer diverter maintenance services and repair parts under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(2). Western believes Reinhausen Manufacturing Inc. is the only known responsible source that has the proprietary information and rights to provide these services. Services will be performed on 7 Trafo-Union OLTC diverters located near Sidney, NE. Contractor shall also provide replacement parts as manufactured and recommended by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the transformer and OLTC. Contractor shall warranty all parts and services for a minimum of 1 year after work is completed. This notice is not a request for quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest by emailing Anne Anderson, Contracting Officer at aanderson@wapa.gov or faxing her at (970)461-7377 by February 2, 2005. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. If no response is received by 4:00 PM Mountain Time February 2, 2005, Western will pursue a sole source contract award with Reinhausen Manufacturing Inc.
