Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the United States Penitentiary located in McCreary, Kentucky. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Years are as follows: Base Period: Inpatient Days, Guaranteed Minimum - 120 days/Estimated Maximum - 1200 days; Outpatient Visits, Guaranteed Minimum - 35 visits/Estimated Maximum - 350 visits; Option Year 1: Inpatient Days, Guaranteed Minimum - 130 days/Estimated Maximum - 1300 days; Outpatient Visits, Guaranteed Minimum - 40 visits/Estimated Maximum - 400 visits; Option Year 2: Inpatient Days, Guaranteed Minimum - 140 days/Estimated Maximum - 1400 days; Outpatient Visits, Guaranteed Minimum - 45 visits/Estimated Maximum - 450 visits; Option Year 3: Inpatient Days, Guaranteed Minimum - 145 days/Estimated Maximum - 1450 days; Outpatient Visits, Guaranteed Minimum - 45 visits/Estimated Maximum - 450 visits; Option Year 4: Inpatient Days, Guaranteed Minimum - 150 days/Estimated Maximum - 1500 days; Outpatient Visits, Guaranteed Minimum - 50 visits/Estimated Maximum - 500 visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about February 24, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is April 25, 2005. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
