- The Office of Job Corps intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for Hotel Conference Services in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 ? with 100% full and open competition. The period of performance for the resulting Purchase Order will be from March 21, 2005 through March 24, 2005. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 721110. The Conference services include lodging (no double occupancy or overflow to other hotels), round tables set-up, and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, transportation to and from the airport and administrative support for 350 people including rapid check-out procedures. The hotel must be located in the city of Atlanta Georgia and Conference space to accommodate 350 people. Meeting Space Requirement: 1st Day: The hotel shall be equipped with One Large Meeting space for ? day to accommodate 350 people round table set-up. 2nd Day: One Large meeting space for 350 people and 4 addition break out rooms all day. 3rd Day: One large meeting space for 350 people and 4 break out rooms all day. 4th Day: One large meeting space for 350 people and meeting space for 350 people for ? day. The hotel shall provide one podium and cordless microphone and lapel microphones, and video screen. In addition, all meeting rooms and breakout rooms are to have ice water available on each table. Refreshment for: 1st Day: Evening snacks: beverage, cookies, water 2nd Day: Continental Breakfast, AM & PM snacks 3rd Day: Continental Breakfast, AM & PM snacks & (*Luncheon see note) 4th Day: Continental Breakfast, AM snack *Note Luncheon will start at 12:00p.m. and serve approx 300. Contractors are reminded to submit a technical description of hotel in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 (b),(4). All responsible sources shall submit pricing by 2:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due to U. S. Department of Labor Office of Job Corps 61 Forsyth St., SW Room 6T95. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and by submitting a quote the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, or debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. This is a Request for Quote (RFP) for commercial hotel services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/quote are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
