- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Rails-To-Trails Conservancy (RTC) for the Co-Sponsorship to support the 2005 International Trails and Greenways Conference. RTC will provide promotional literature for FHWA as well as provide no-cost registration for the FHWA representative?s booth space, the meeting facilities, as well as provide the workshop speakers for the designated sessions, facilitators and participating speakers. Because RTC are the sponsors for the conference as well as providing the funding, facilitators, and meeting site they are the only source for their conference. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is February 9, 2005.
