Description
NSN: 1560-00-631-2193FL P/N: 5-96130-3011 Noun: Structural Panel Item Description: Structural Panel. Consists of several components: banded skin panels, seals, seal retainers, and hinges. Dimensions: 1 in. X 18 in. X 56 in. made of aluminum used as a counter balance to allow easier operation of ailerons Applicable to: KC-135 Aircraft Destination: FB2039 Delivery: 10 each by May 2005, 12 each by June 2005 and 11 ea by July 2005 Estimated Qty: 33 The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 11 February 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 14 March 2005. The anticipated award date will be 20 April 2005. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Surplus parts will be solicited. A certificate of conformance must accompany all surplus quotes. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. This data is rights guard protected. To obtain the data a rights guard certificate must accompany the request. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Caution: The drawings which will be furnished under this RFP and any resultant contract are proprietary to the Boeing Company. Firms interested in proposing on this RFP must have on file a current OC-SAF/66, ?Rights Guard Certificate?, signed by an individual authorized to bind your company, or the bid package will not be furnished. This certificate may be obtained from OCALC/PKXDA, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-5320. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 736-3273.
