Description

This synopsis modifies the notice posted on October 8, 2004 that announced our intent to extend the period of performance of the current Commercial Travel Office (CTO) concessionaire contract until 28 February 2005, a total of 59 days. This modification to that posting announces our intent to change the extension date from 28 February 2005 to 31 March 2005. This action is necessary to provide continuity of services until Los Angeles AFB is absorbed into the Defense Travel System (DTS), recently rescheduled from 01 March 2005 to 01 April 2005. The current contract (F04693-01-H-0004), consisting of a basic one-year period and 2 one-year options, expired on 31 December 2004 and is currently operating the extension announced on October 8, 2004. The current service provider is Rodgers Travel, a woman-owned, small disadvantaged business located in Philadelphia, PA. The proposed extended period of performance will consist of thirty-one (31) days, 01 March 2005 through 31 March 2005. This synopsis will not result in the issuance of a solicitation and is not an invitation to submit bids, proposals, or quotations. Opposition to this action should be submitted, in writing, not later than close of business on Wednesday, 9 February 2005.
