- This is a Notice for Information in support of the acquisition strategy for the mission of the U.S. Army Futures Center. This project was formally synopsized as Futures Center Integration Contract. This is not a solicitation announcement. Respons es to this announcement will be used by the Government to make better informed and appropriate acquisition decisions. The mission of the U.S. Army Futures Center is to design, develop, and integrate from concept to capability all aspects of the Army futur e force into a joint Warfighting Environment. The Government requests from industry recommendations to include pros and cons on an acquisition strategy to acquire the above support to include consolidation of tasks under one or more contracts utilizing an integration approach, separately acquiring the support, grouping tasks, and any other methods to acquire the support required by the Futures Center. The rationale for the recommendations should include both monetary and quality benefits. Your submission to this announcement is to be in the form of a completed survey questionnaire. The questionnaire is located on the Northern Region Contracting Center Website (Business Opportunities, Fort Monroe) at http://www.aca-nrcc.eustis.army.mil/Solicitations/Ft%20M onroe/Ft%20Monroe.htm . A copy of the Statement of Objectives and Background information on the Futures Center is also located at that site. Your completed questionnaire should be submitted electronically to Ms. Diane Black at diane.black@eustis.army.mil , or by Compact Disk to NRCC, ATTN: Diane Black, 2798 Harrison Loop Complex, Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5538 by COB 17 Feb 05. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation annou ncement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
