Description
The Michigan Army National Guard is looking for a Thermal Cleaning System used to clean subassemblies of engine rebuilds with no hazardous by products and a Magnetic Crack Detector used to determine serviceability of heads and blocks. Must include the following components: Rotisserie style oven-basket size 44Lx20Wx20H, capacity 4 cylinder heads or I block 225,000 BTU Main, 135,000 BTU afterburner, 300-750 degrees F, 8 all fuel stainless, 6WC minimum, 120V 60 Hz Airless shot blaster- basket size 44Lx20Wx20H, capacity 4 cylinder heads or 1 block, 208-220 volt 3 phase 60 Hz, 10 Hp Dust collector-4 bags @ 8 dia. 60 tall ? Hp Shaker tumbler-basket size 44Lx20Wx20H, 4 cylinder heads or 1 block, 208-220 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 5 Hp Vent stacking kit-8 all fuel stainless vent pipe, 3 pcs 30 long, 8 stainless cap. Flashing, mounting ring one each, vent up to 10 ft ceiling height. Magnetic crack detector- Magnetic particle inspection machine, complete with hood assembly and 14 movable search coil. Portable probes for inspection outside of the cabinet Work piece capacity 73 long 13 diameter, 2500 amps @ 6 volts AC, 4 positions, ultra-violet, 220 volt, 1 phase, 710 lbs, 84 wide 24 deep 74 high The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333618. This requirement is anticipated to be set aside for small business; however we are seeking all sources at this time. The small business standard for this classification is 1,000 employees. Any information provided by industry to the government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. The government requests interested parties to submit a brief description of their company  business size, business status i.e., small business, disadvantaged, HUB zone, woman-owned) and a description of similar services offered to the government and to commercial customers. Acknowledgement of receipt will no t be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. Responses are required by 12:00 PM EST on 9 February 2005.
