- Description
- The Government has a requirement to procure services for the training, testing, logistics, modeling and simulations, and demonstration support required to support the Project Manager - Soldier Warrior. The contractor shall develop training support p ackages and tactics development for the ground soldier system. The contractor shall possess the knowledge, skills, depth of understanding of the system in order to provide immediate response to requirements that are emerging as systems are developed. Ext ensive travel within CONUS and OCONUS will be required. This effort will be solicited as a sole source to Omega Training Group, , Inc. 7201 Moon Road, Columbus, Ga 31909. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract utilizing both firm fixed pric e and time and materials taks will be utilized. Contract term will be thirty-six months. Fed Biz Opps Numbered Note 22 applies to this acquisition. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with th is proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
