- OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF CHIEF JOSEPH DAM WILDLIFE MITIGATION SITES ON RUFUS WOODS LAKE. SCOPE The contractor shall perform O&M activities on wildlife mitigation sites 3, 5, 8, 12, 16, and 18 at the Chief Joseph Dam Project for the period of 1 February 2005 through 1 November 2005 (10 months). This shall include: noxious weed control; fence maintenance; operating and maintaining the irrigation systems; food plot installation; sprinkler renovation; and mowing. Duties include daily completion of a log specifying tasks performed and time spent, and monthly completion of a log specifying exactly the amount and duration of the water applied on the irrigation sites. The task logs and irrigation logs shall be submitted to the COR on the last workday of each month. If necessary, contractor personnel shall be trained by the Government in the O&M of the irrigation systems onsite.
