Description
Contractor shall provide reagents and the use of the DAKO Universal Autostainer (S3400) and Seymour Glass Slide Labeling System (S3416) for the Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, for a base period and four 1-year opt ion periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NASICS) is 325412, threshold of 500 employees. The FSC is 6640. A fixed price requirements type contract is anticipated. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the De partment of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the internet at: www.ccr.gov to register). Upon release to the public, the solicitation as well as amendments will be available via the internet at the ASFI and FedBizOpps website: http://acquisition.army.mil. Contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments. Point of contact for this requirement is Mrs. Anita Adcock, Contract Specialist, 910-907-9303, email address: anita.adcock@na.amedd.army.mil. It is the Government's intent to place a purchase order with Dakocytomataion (formerly DAKO Corporation), 6392 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013-2921 for Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina for delivery of reagents, testing equipment, mate rials, supplies, consumables, training for Government personnel, and all equipment maintenance and any other items necessary for diagnosis of Cancer, AIDS, Organ Transplant Testing, Bone Marrow Tests. The period of performance is 1 April 2005 through 30 S eptember 2005 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. Responses will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists.
