- Description
- It is the intent of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, AL 35807, to negotiate on a sole source basis with Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ. The proposed acquisition is directed to Raytheon Missile Systems pursuant to th e authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed acquisition will require the contractor to complete development and perform integrated testing of a Range Resolved Dop pler Ladar breadboard at the Maui Space Surveillance Site in FY05 and FY06. This effort also requires the contractor to build an integrated Brassboard system that is based upon the breadboard. The contractor will design, develop, build, integrate and tes t a brassboard coherent heterodyne ladar, integrated with a passive sensor suite, utilizing a singe aperture and perform analysis of final test data. The brassboard must be capable of surviving and performing captive carry flight tests. See note 22.
