- This a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Commercial Item ??? PLASTIC CANAL LINING. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation RMP00050005 is a request for quote. The closing date for receiving quotes is 02/04/05 end of business day. This request for quote is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. FAR 52.212.02 award will be made to the lowest responsive offeror who provides the best value to the Government. This RFQ(request for quote) is for brand name or equal in accordance with (FAR 11.104). Substitute brands may be provided if they perform the same function. Product equal to Brand Name must be accompanied with verifiable references. Brand Name: PondGard EPDM Membrane (rubber liner for irrigation canals) 45 Mils (1.1 mm) thickness, 50 ft. width x 200 foot length rolls. Quantity: 2,510 Feet. Tensile properties: Break strength (min) 50 lb./in.; Break elongation (min) 500%; Tear Resistance (min) 9 lb.; Puncture Resistance (min) 35 lb.; Multiaxial elongation (min) 100%; Water vapor ??? permeability (max) 2.0 perm-mils. Delivery Date: 02/28/04, deliver: BIA-Flathead Agency-Irrigation, 220 Project Dr., St Ignatius, MT 59865. Contracting Officer???s Representative (COR) will be assigned at the time the contract is awarded. COR shall be contacted prior to delivery. The following FAR clauses are applicable and this synopsis/solicitation incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC #2001-20). FAR 52.102 incorporating provisions and clauses by reference apply to this contract. FAR 52.212.01, FAR 52.212.02, FAR 52.212.03, FAR 52.212.04, FAR 52.214.31 applies to this contract. FAR 52.212.05 applies to this contract with the following clauses marked, FAR 52.222-3 FAR 222.19, FAR 52.222.21, FAR 52.222.26, 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36,FAR 52.225.1, FAR 52.225.13, FAR 52.232.33, FAR 52.232.36. Please provide the following information and Quote to: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office Contract & Grants, 911 NE 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97232 or by fax (503) 231-6810 (FAR 52.214.31 Facsimile Bids). Include DUNS Number and Method of Payment. You must complete and return FAR 52.212.03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. All vendors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration website in order to receive contracts and purchase orders from the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs FAR 52.212-01(k).
