Description

JRMIC HVAC UPGRADES - The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to do the following: 1) Upgrade a heating system; 2) Install a new fresh air distribution system; 3) Install new lay-in ceilings; 4) Install new lighting; 5) Install new electrical and communications wiring; 6) Install a new sprinkler system; 7) Install life safety work equipment. The estimated price range for this work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000.000.00. The NAICS code for this work is 238220 and the Period of Performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonding will be required as follows: 1) Bid Bond at 20% of the bid price; 2) Payment Bond at 100% of the contract price; 3) Performance Bond at 100% of the contract price. The Solicitation will be available by electronic posting only at www.fedbizopps.gov on, or about, February 10, 2005. Offerors will be required to print the bid documents and use them for submission of their bids. In order to receive a contract award, contractors are required to register with the Central Contractor Registration system at www.ccr.gov or at 1-877-352-2255 (press 2).
