- I 1700 05 0603 This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about February 10, 2005. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of: resurface an aggregate access road; clear and grub site and construct a parking lot with compacted structural back fill and aggregate surface course; construct drainage swales, ditches, culverts and berms; pave existing side walks with bituminous concrete; provide and install wire livestock fencing, three rail cedar fencing, and associated metal livestock gates; provide and install two 10' cedar hitching rails; clear and grub a stall building site; provide a 4 stall building pad constructed with compacted structural back fill and aggregate surface course; install four new government furnished 10'x10' portable box stalls and provide and install associated anchors and roofing system; provide and install 2 new underground electric lines from panels on existing stall buildings, provide and connect two new 40A panels, and improve two electric fence charger stations; provide and install lights and outlets in the new stall building; tee off a 2 inch water line; and install a curb stop and hose bib with a vacuum break. All work under this contract shall be completed by June 9, 2005. Primary NAICS 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, Secondary NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This solicitation is open to all size businesses. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copy bid documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic bid documents will be accepted). Bids must be received at Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 by 3:00 pm on March 15, 2005 local prevailing time. A complete bid package shall include three (3) copies of completed SF 1442, Solicitation, Offer, and Award, all with original signatures; three (3) copies of bid schedule; one completed section K, Representations and Certifications; and one SF24 Bid Bond. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors included in the solicitation.
