- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under BOA N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street Stratford, CT 06615, on an other than full and open competitive basis to allow SAC to provide all non-recurring engineering and logistics to develop a retrofit kit to modify MH-60R LRIP I configured aircraft for data link reversibility, update documentation (including logistic documentation), manufacture and test one retrofit assembly, and modify one MH-60R aircraft for data link reversibility. This procurement will also include options for modifying 4 additional MH-60R aircraft for data link reversibility. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy ageny requirements. SAC is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the airframe for the MH-60 aircraft and the only known source possessing the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort. Note 22 is applicable to this synopsis (sole source).
