- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure one 150 Ton Down-Acting Hydraulic Press on a competititive firm fixed price basis. Shipping, installation and training will be included in the firm fixed price. Delivery of the system is FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA 10 weeks after award of the contract. A portion of the specifications are as follows: a) Four Post, down-acting configuration; b) Clamp capacity @ 2654 PSI hydraulic pressure; c) Single Daylight Opening: 40 inches (platen to platen); d) Maximum cylinder stroke: 40 inches for full press closure when empty; e) Cylinder: 14? diameter bore, double-acting; f) Work height: Approximately 18" lower platen working surface to floor; g) Safety: Hydraulically actuated safety stop for "lock-up of moving bolster in the full open maintenance position; h) Minimum platen size is 36 inches. A detailed performance specification wil! l be provided with the written solicitation posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce on-line website at: http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/SearchServlet on/about 07 February 2005. This requirement is being procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and the type of contract contemplated is Firm Fixed Price. The solicitation will close on or about 28 February 2005. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responsible sources must submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability and availability o! f parts and service. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
