- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity service contract for the rental of forklifts, manlifts and scissorlifts. The contractor shall provide on-site maintenance, with a response time of eight hours after notification. Contractor must obtain required badges for access to Controlled Industrial Areas. Delivery is FOB Destination to various addresses with Navy Region Northwest, Washington. Period of Performance is base year of performance, with 2 one-year option periods . FISC Puget Sound is contemplating multiple award(s) resulting from this solicitation. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 14 February 2005 with a 30-day closing date, using Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the NECO website @ www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to mary.carkeek@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Only vendors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for contract award. See www.ccr2000.com for more information on registering. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
