Description

17. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to procure up to 61 Ground Laser Target Designators (GLTD II) from Northrop Grumman Corporation Laser Systems, 2787 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703. This modification to Contract M67854-03-C-6004 will provide up to 41 GLTD II?s for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserves with the purpose of mirroring the equipment already fielded to the Active Duty forces. Also, up to an additional twenty (20) systems may be procured for the Active Duty forces to supplement the systems previously fielded. As the developer and sole manufacturer of the GLTD II, Northrop Grumman Laser Systems has the unique specific knowledge of the system design necessary to satisfy the USMC requirement.
