Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to The following work to the at facility 7715 the Mighty 8 playground is to include as follows. 1. Approximately one dozen pipe end caps are missing. 2. Approximately 6 bolts are missing on the Chameleon slides. 3. Several railing pipes are not installed in proper bar sockets. 4. Many self tapping screws which are imperative for structural soundness are not installed. 5. Many screws throughout playstructure need to be tightened. 6. Many bolts exceed the two thread limits. 7. Several bar sockets have too long improper screws. Need blue bar sockets with screws. 8. Safety surfacing is very inadequate. Area is now wood fiber which needs removed and remove any hard surface in the sub base and place approx 80 tons of Playsafe Rubber Mulch ADA approved and Ipema certified to a depth of 6? for a fall height of 12?.. The 80 Tons is approx what ever tonnage is required to maintain a 6? depth. Contractor will be required to measure area and calculate how many cubit ft of mulch will be required. 9. Wood mulch that has been removed must be disposed of off base in a proper manner. At Facility 7719 the following work is required. 1. Removal of all sand and the replacement with Playsafe Rubber Mulch ADA approved and Ipema certified to a depth of 6?. Approximately 3200 sq. Ft.. 2. Sand that has been removed can be hauled and dump at Horizontal dump site at the north end of the base.
