Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26 effective 19 Jan 2005. The solicitation incorporates by reference the following clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.232-33, 252.204-7004. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with 6.302-1. WPAFB intends to award to Hummingbird USA, 1575 I Street NW, Suite 240, Washington, DC 20005. The Maestro provides NFS services which allow access to a user's home directory from the Windows environment. Exceed gives PC users an avenue into the "X" world (Unix). The Maintenance Program includes unlimited telephone support for technical troubleshooting and enhancement requests, 24x7 support through on-line information, electronic product solutions and software update and upgrade notification of new or enhanced software releases. This RFQ has the following line item(s): Line Item 0001 - Exceed 1000+ Maintenance Renewal, 1 year per client (1030) Qty. Line Item 0002 - NFS Maestro Solo 1000+ Maintenance Renewal, 1 year per client (1030) Qty. Period of Performance is: 01 Feb 2005 through 31 Jan 2006. FOB Destination. The Ship to Address is: NAIC/SCXA, 4165 Communications Road, Bldg 281, Door 2, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433.
