Description

Potential Sources Sought for submitting a proposal for upcoming contract to Repair Fire Alarm Systems, Various Locations at Homestead Air Reserve Station, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The base is located approximately thirty miles south of Miami. The work include but not limited to removal of old wiring and conduits, installation of new alarms, alarm antennas, panels and associated components. The acquisition is a Fixed-Priced-Construction contract. The SIC is 1731. The magnitude of the construction is estimated to be between $250K and $500K. The project performance period is 90 calendar days. It is anticipated that a combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued on or about 2 Feb 2005. Dates are for estimating purposes only, and may be revised as indicated in the Information for Bid (IFB). This solicitation is unrestricted. Proposal will be evaluated pursuant of FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal. The solicitation package and attachments shall be made available on this site, with the exception of the contract drawings, all requests for the drawings must be made in writing.
