Description

Overlay/Construct Roads and Airfield Pavements. Work includes construction and/or repair of pavements; concrete sidewalks, curbs, and gutters; guardrails; and airfield cracks. Also included are rubber removal and installation; pavement marking and striping; and incidentals necessary to complete the specified work in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and plate drawings. Site locations are: Kadena Air Base, Kadena Airfield, 18MUNS Area, Kadena Marina, Chibana, O?Donnell Garden, Camp Shields, Plaza, Kishaba Terrace, Zukeran, Sada, Futenma, Chatan, Camp Lester (Military Family Housing), Camp Courtney (MFH), Camp McTureous (MFH), Camp Kinser (MFH), Okuma Recreation Center, and US Army Facilities. This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must be licensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan. Contact the United States Embassy, Tokyo, Japan to inquire how to become licensed to perform work in Japan. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000,000.00 (JP YEN Y12,549,000,000) and $250,000,000.00 (JP Yen Y31,372,500,000); conversion rate of $1.00 = JP Yen Y125.49.
