Description

Provide all labor, material and equipment to rehabilitate insulation in North Storage Building and Garage Building. In North Building only, install additional girts midway between the floor and existing girt and the existing girt and the header beam. For both buildings install additional batt insulation in the wall and ceiling cavities; install metal liner panels. Temporarily move or relocate electrical boxes as needed to allow for installation of liner panels; remove and reattach after liner panel and insulation installation fire extinguishers and any electrical boxes and switches which would be "buried" due to the insulation installation. Temporarily disconnect and demount ceiling hung unit heaters and remount and reconnect when liner panel is installed at heater location. The work is located at the Kulm Wetland Management District, LaMoure County, North Dakota. Performance period is 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 27, 2005 with a closing date of on or about February 11, 2005. The solicitation will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Please note that drawings and specifications will also be posted with the solicitation as .pdf files and will be available for download from the GPE. This acquisition is open to both large and small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
