Description

The United States National Arboretum(USNA) requires the services of a surveyor to provide management, labor, tools, equipment, supplies and any other items needed to produce maps and a detailed topographic survey of the trails, paths, roads, parking lots, buildings, above ground utilities, permanent structures, planting beds, woodland edges, turf edges, hardscape and special features in sections of the Arboretum. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, all Federal, District of Columbia, laws, regulations, codes, licenses, and directives. A site visit is scheduled for September 08, 2004 8:30 a.m., meeting in front of the Administrative Building at the United States National Arboretum. The address of the National Arboretum is 3501 New York Avenue N.E. Washington, D.C. 20002. This synopsis for a commercial service is prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 Acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about September 06, 2004 and can be downloaded by logging on to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Interested parties must download the solicitation and all corresponding amendments. Please be advised that any subsequent amendments to this solicitation shall be posted at the same website without further notice. All offerors are responsible for the complete solicitation package and any subsequent amendments. Only written requests stating that the solicitation could not be accessed will be mailed, but the Contractor is still responsible for requesting the amendments, if any. Reference solicitation number (12-3K47-04) on all inquiries. Request for Quotation (RFQ) 12-3k47-04 is incorporating provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-24. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541370 and annual size standard is $4.0 million for the proceeding 4 years. This is a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is September 24, 2004.
