- Description
- The Forest Services requires retrofitting existing air system for air conditioning by replacing all existing air handling units, installing new condensing unit, upgrading existing pneumatic control system with new DDC system, resizing some duct runs, and correcting existing ventilation system to meet current code requirements in an approximately 40,000 square foot building. Project also upgrades electrical services significantly, replaces service feeders to most sub-panels, replaces numerous sub-panels, adds some additional electrical panels, and includes architectural considerations and site work related to above electrical and mechnical work on Building 24, on the Lolo National Forest, Missoula County, MT. The RFQ will include Option Items that may be awarded during the life of the contract. The contract time will be 180 calendar days. Work is estimated to start in April 2005. Quotes are due on March 24, 2005. Estimated price range is $500,000 to $1,00,000. An information meeting and site visit is scheduled for February 25, 2005, at Building 24, Fort Missoula, at 10 am. The solicitation will be available on approximately February 14, 2005 , and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
