Description
The Air Force Academy has a requirement for the purchase of Flight Caps, Officer Men and Women and Flight Caps Cadet, Men and Women. The Flight Caps shall be manufactured in accordance with USAFA CU 427-06, dated 9 December 2004, MIL-C-3261F(USAF), dated 22 September 1989, and MIL-C-44130C(GL), dated 11 January 1991. All fabric for the Flight Caps, Officer men and women will furnished by the contractor and Government Furnished Material will be provided for the manufacture of the Flight Caps Cadet, Men and Women. The requested amounts are 1200 each Men?s Officer Flight Caps, 300 each Women?s Officer Flight Caps, 3000 each Men?s Cadet Flight Caps, and 720 each Women?s Cadet Flight Caps. Contractor must be Air Force Certified. First Article may be required IAW FAR 52.209-3. Delivery FOB destination to USAF Academy CO 80840. Request for Quotation, FA7000-05-T-0084 will be available on or about 1 February 2005 and can only be downloaded from FedBizOpps. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. This acquisition will be accomplished utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 & 13. The requested delivery date is not later than 15 March 2005 for the Officer Flight Caps and 30 April 2005 for the Cadet Flight Caps. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Agency and shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. See Internet site: https://ccr.dlsc.dla.mil. This is 100% small business set-side. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 315991 and the Business Size Standard is 500. Woman owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit offers. Quotes are to be received at the Operational Contracting Office, 8110 Industrial Drive, Suite 200, USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315, 3:00 P.M. on or about 18 February 2005, Mountain Time.
