- Description
- Equipment will be used to remove sand from the Fish Gap section of the Neah Bay Marina to the 2 MLLW elevation. The larger dozer will push sand to a staging area, where the excavator will load trucks. Approximately 5000 cubic yards of sand will the n be transported to the Evan-Mole site, where the sand will be placed below +8 MLLW to allow for littoral drift. The disposal site is located approximately 1/2 mile from the excavation. Work will be performed after dark on some occasions to accommodate for suitable tides. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following ad dress: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification of solicitation/amendment posting. The solicitation will be available for download on 28 January 2005.
