- Description
- The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintained smokejumper airplane services consisting of one multi-engine airplane (DHC-6-300 or equal) in support of the Bureau of Land Management wildland fire management programs at Boise, Idaho (although the aircraft will be utilized throughout the western United States) The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. The term of the contract will be one year with options to renew for four additional years with an exclusive use period beginning approximately May 2 and extending to a minimum of July 31 (extension are common). See the solicitation for specific periods. Projected solicitation issue date is 1/28/05. Set aside for small business.
