- Description
- The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services within 50 miles of the existing community corrections center, 709 Lapeer Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607 for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on June 1, 2005 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on May 31, 2010. The services required for this contract include Line Item Number 1: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 25: (2) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 96 Individual Units x 25 inmates = 2,400 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 144 Group Units x 25 inmates = 3,600 total units. Option Year One: Estimated Number of Inmates 25: (2) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 96 Individual Units x 25 inmates = 2,400 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 144 Group Units x 25 inmates = 3,600 total units. Option Year Two: Estimated Number of Inmates 26: (3) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 48 Individual Units x 26 inmates = 1,248 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 26 inmates = 1,872 total units. Option Year 3: Estimated Number of Inmates 27: (4) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 48 Individual Units x 27 inmates = 1,296 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 27 inmates = 1,944 total units. Option Year Four: Estimated Number of Inmates 28: (5) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 48 Individual Units x 28 inmates = 1,344 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 28 inmates =2,016 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after March 2, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about March 31, 2005. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
