Description

It is the U.S. Governments intent to acquire the following services: Publication of the Civilian Enterprise (CE) Newspaper, herein after referred to as Redstone Rocket. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation, Request for Proposal Numb er W9124P-05-R-0004, and contract award shall be conducted using requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Army Regulation 360-81 as it implements the Department of Defense Instruction 5120.4. The Redstone Rocket will contain advertising that will be prepared and published under contract with a commercial publisher. The right to sell and circulate advertising to the complete readership in the Redstone Rocket provides the publisher revenue to cover costs and earnings. The right to circulate t hese publications to the Army readership constitutes contractual consideration, instead of money to pay for these publications. The contract is for one year beginning in June 2005, plus options to renew the agreement for four (4) additional twelve month p eriods. Award may be made without discussions, therefore each initial offer should contain the offerors best terms. The estimated release date of the RFP is 14 February 2005, with an estimated closing date of 15 March 2005. Prospective awardee shall be registered in the Defense Central Contractor Register.
