Description
The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement to maintain Dormitory 762, Malmstrom AFB, MT. The project consists of renovating the existing dormitory building 762. All 3 floors of the dormitory interior and exterior will req uire work. Interior work includes but is not limited to demolition, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire detection, and finishes. Some salvage and reuse of items is required. Building debris shall be removed to a licensed landfill. Exterior work include s minor concrete work, exterior building cleaning and finishes, CMU, and window replacement. Other features include rough and finish carpentry, gypsum wall board, interior painting, vinyl flooring, carpet, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wi ring and lighting fixtures. This requirement will be a Best Value procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15. Period of performance is 450 calendar days. The price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals, and a fixed-price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement . This project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million.
