Description
Request for comments on the draft Statement of Work for contractor support services for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The following is a summary of the required services: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: a. Counseling for a wide range of problems that could cause adversely affect job performance or conduct. b. Client referral to appropriate providers when needed. c. Substance abuse evaluations, treatment plans, referrals, case management, monitoring, and relapse prevention programs/services. d. Acquisition and maintenance of all documents for employees referred to the agency's EAP for alcohol and other drugs. e. Ongoing assessments and development of EAP-related referral, including clinical diagnoses, personality disorders, psychosocial, and environmental problems. f. Critical Incident Stress Management Programs services, including conducting Critical Incident Stress Debriefings when appropriate, utilizing the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation model. g. Supervisory training for approximately 600 supervisors and managers annually at facilities (unavailable to on-site counselors if Option # 1 is exercised). h. EAP training for approximately 1000 employees annually. i. Producing and delivering camera-ready copy for promotional materials, including posters, wallet-size cards, brochures, and marketing media. j. Developing and maintaining a quality assurance program. k. Statistical reports that reflect utilization rates agency wide and by Regional and Center jurisdictions. l. 24-hr seven days a week toll free number answered by licensed, professional counselors. Counseling services shall be for a wide range of problems that could adversely affect job performance and conduct. Some of the typical diagnosed problems are: ?? personal health ?? substance abuse/dependence including alcohol and other substances ?? financial; legal; marital, and family problems ?? mental or emotional problems ?? compulsive disorders including gambling ?? eating disorders ?? child and elder care ?? Critical Incident Stress Management services ?? grief counseling
