- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines VA Medical Center (VAMC), Bay Pines, FL intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The VA intends to negotiate a Consignment Agreement with Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, Inc. On behalf of Cordis Cardiology, a Division of Cordis Corporation to provide stents, and raptorrail balloons. The NAICS code is 339113 a size standard 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may present their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation detailing their experience in providing these products to the Contracting Officer via email Laurie.Mahalla@med.va.gov. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed required based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses must be received by February 9, 2005, 4:00PM, EST.
