Description

The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a required for the lease with option to purchase of a vertical liquid Nitrogen (LN2) tank. The requirement is for the installation, test, certification and lease of an 11,000 liquid nitrogen ta nk with one electrically operated 2 inch control valve with a remote indicator. A keep full valve will be supplied at the operators station. The estimated LN2 usage will be 550,000 cubic feet per month. This lease will include liquid nitrogen delivered in appropriate intervals to keep the tank filled. The contractor will be responsible for all inspections, certifications and maintenance of the tank. Option One is for the supplier to provide the requirements for the concrete support pad for the LN2 tank to include detailed drawings, bill of material and design specifications for the support pad. Option Two will be for a complete turnkey operation to include installation of the concrete support pad and the LN2 tank. The North American Industrial Classific ation for this requirement is 325120 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The period of performance for this contract is time of award through 30 September 2005 with four one-year option periods through 30 September 2009. The solicitation is being sol icited on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will be available on our contracting website http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting on or before Tuesday February 08, 2005. A site visit will be conducted during the week of 14 February 2005. All proposals shall be clearly marked with this solicitation number W9124R-05-R-0008 and emailed to Pamela.nevels@yuma.army.mil or by facsimile to (928) 328-6849 no later than 5:00 PM MST on February 24, 2005. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsi ble bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability, past performance and price.
