Description
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District is performing a survey to determine if qualified and interested SBA certified HubZone and SDVOSB in the New York (Region 2) have the capabilities and bonding capacity for the following effort: Com pletely prepare sites, furnish labor, materials and perform work for the construction and installation of automatic site irrigation systems and central controls for Sections 24A and 28, and replacement construction of 8 Irrigation Zone Control Systems, inc luding replacement construction of an optional 3 Irrigation Zone Control Systems with automatic site irrigation systems and central controls at the Veterans Administration Calverton National Cemetary, Calverton, N.Y. as required by the drawings and specifi cations. The estimated Construction Cost Range of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. All interested firms MUST provide qualification statements and the firm's available bonding capacity. The deadline to respond to this survey is 21 J an 2005, close of business. This compilation is necessary to enable the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to determine if an available pool of qualified Hubzone and SDVOSB firms are available to compete for this effort. Interested firms are instructed to contac t Anne Spiegelberg via e-mail at anne.spiegelberg@nan02.usace.army.mil, or on company letterhead, to Anne Spiegelberg, 26 Federal Plaza, CENAN-CT, Room 1843, New York, NY 10278-0090. and provide documentation that illustrates the firms capabilitie s and pr ior efforts that are similar to the subject construction effort. This announcement does not imply that the Government is obligated to award this effort in the future. All interested and qualified HubZone and SDVOSB Firms are encouraged to reply. Upon concl usion of the compilation, if the Government has determined that the qualified pool is not significant enough for a restricted competition, this requirement, if advertised, may be solicited as an unrestricted requirement, or may be canceled. DFARS 252.204-7 004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense (CCR) database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligibl e for award.
